- Top loading and front loading is very convenient, especially the front loading.
- Nice that it includes a rain cover
- Tether points all over it. Ample pockets and sippers as well.
- Great warranty from High Sierra
- Easy to use and organize – newbie friendly!
- Great pack for larger people
Make sure you know first…
- The sleeping bag compartment on the bottom might be a little bit small.
- On new packs, the zippers are very stiff. Reportedly they will work itself out over time. But it can be a bit difficult during the “loosening” time. Don’t force them.

What Customers Are Saying:
“Very nice pack. This is the most versatile pack I’ve ever owned. Wonderful construction quality as well. Tether points all over it. ample pockets and sippers as well. It has two top load draw strings to help keep out water and I love the fact that it has a a zipper on the outside to access into it for small things so I don’t have to open it up all the way every time. The sleeping bag compartment on the bottom is a little bit smaller than i would have liked, but the main compartment opens up into it to allow a bigger bag to extend into the top area. I would DEFINITELY purchase this product again. Better than most bags that are double the price…(READ MORE)”
“Pros: plenty of space — traveled around Africa for 2 weeks and had plenty of room for a multitude of clothing (options for warmer and cooler climates) and room to bring home some souvenirs, not heavy at all, comfortable straps. Cons: zippers were hard to open, got stuck often …(READ MORE)”
“Some reviewers have complained about the bag weighing too much. My response to that is, first off it is a 75 liter pack and therefore will weigh more because it is a large pack, secondly the pack is built to last, and lastly it has well padded straps and hip belt which add weight. I will say that once you get your load strapped down tight with the multiple tightening straps, and you get the pack dialed in for your body the pack carries heavy loads very comfortably. My pack weight is over 40 lbs. I have have no complaints with this bag. I love it. I can carry all my equipment and necessities inside the bag. It is also very convenient because it is top and front loading. I would truly recommend this pack to anyone…(READ MORE)”
