A full length adjustable torso allows this pack to be adjusted for those 5’1″ all the way up to 6’4″. - No zips on the bag for locking
- Some backpacks reportedly come with clips or straps already busted in which case you will need to work with customer support.
Overall: a great quality hiking backpack, one that can fit a wide range of heights. A lot of adjustable straps and pads are available to get the Teton Sports Explorer 4000 Internal Frame Backpack to fit on you. And the price is amazing!! The only drawback is that it seems to be slightly less durable than other Teton Sports models. Overall, we like this pack a lot and would highly recommend it.
What Buyers Are Saying:
“This is a great bag for such a low price!!! I look over the internet for some weeks before I bought this bag and almost every bag was out of my budget. This bag look okay at a great price so gave it a chance and for my fortune the bag was a lot more than what I expect; good quality, spacious and easy fit…(READ MORE)”
“This bag will work perfectly for what I will use it for. It has plenty of adjustments and with a little work I got it to fit very comfortably with all my gear in it (total weight including bag is 42 lbs). Some of the straps are extra long, however I have a smaller build than average (5’10″ 155 lbs) so some might find the longer straps to be convenient. My only problem with the bag is that some of the plastic buckles do seem kind of thin for something that carries so much weight for long periods. There are better bags out there, of course you are going to pay a lot more for them, I had $70 to spend so this fit the bill perfect and I am pretty sure this is the best bang for the buck…(READ MORE)”
“Great pack! Just took on a three-day, 30km hike. It was very comfortable throughout the hike – plenty of padding in the shoulders and hips. The sleeping bag compartment was a little small but I discovered (as I was packing to leave …) that it can be unzipped to expand into the main chamber, so you can get a larger bag into the bag if needed. The included rain fly was wonderful – halfway into the hike the rain started and it kept everything under it dry. The fly was also large enough to cover the things I had strapped onto the outside (bivouac and small air mattress). Highly recommend…(READ MORE)”
